Panasonic has unveiled at the BIRTV 2014 fair in Beijing a new P2 shoulder camcorder that will come on the market yet in October 2014. The only 2.8 kg HD camera is equipped with three 2/3 inch MOS sensors, two P2 slots and built-in LAN (using an additional module also Wi-Fi and 4G / LTE) and supports the AVC-ULTRA codec (DVCPRO also HD / DVCPRO50 / DVCPRO / DV). FullHD (1920x1080) is included with frame rates of 60i / 24p / 30p and 50i / 50p / 25p. The Px800 also contains functions to compensate for chromatic aberrations (CAC) and a Dynamic Range Stretcher (DRS) for the suppression of extreme light and dark areas and flash band compensation (FBC).
