Panasonic hat die baldige Verfügbarkeit der 2.3 Firmrware Updates für die Panasonic GH6 angekündigt, womit vor allem zwei spannende, neue Funktionen für die Panasonic GH6 zur Verfügung gestellt werden: Zum einen die RAW-Videoaufzeichnung auf externem Blackmagic Rekorder via HDMI und die Unterstützung von 4K 120p/100p – ebenfalls am HDMI-Ausgang. ;)
Hierzu heisst es in der Panasonic Pressemitteilung: RAW-Videoaufzeichnung auf externem Blackmagic Rekorder Zusätzlich zu ProRes RAW ist die Ausgabe von Blackmagic RAW möglich: 12-Bit-RAW-Video in[5.7K],[C4K],[Anamorph (4:3) 5.8K],[Anamorph (4:3) 4.4K] können über HDMI an den Blackmagic Monitor/Rekorder &Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR& ausgegeben und als Blackmagic RAW gespeichert werden. * Die Blackmagic Website informiert über die nötige Firmware-Version des Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR. * DaVinci Resolve oder DaVinci Resolve Studio wird benötigt, um BRAW wiederzugeben und zu bearbeiten. * Wenn die[Rec Quality] auf 5.7K/60p (50p) oder C4K/120p (100p) eingestellt ist und auf einem Blackmagic Rekorder aufgenommen wird, wird empfohlen, die Codec-Qualität auf dem Recorder wie folgt einzustellen: - Bei Aufnahme auf eine SSD: konstante Bitrate 5:1 oder weniger - Bei der Aufnahme auf eine SD-Karte: konstante Bitrate 8:1 oder weniger Unterstützung für 4K 120p/100p HDMI-Ausgang Video in C4K 120p/100p or 4K 120p/100p can be output to an external device via HDMI. - Blackmagic Design" and "Blackmagic RAW" are registered trademarks of Blackmagic Design Pty. Ltd - Other trademarks and trade names are the property of their respective owners. - Depending on the situation, not all features may be available. - Design and specifications are subject to change without notice The Panasonic GH6 2.3 firmware also introduces an improved external SSD recording function, which requires the DMW-AC10 AC adapter (optional) and DMW-DCC17 DC coupler (also optional). This means that SSDs can now be used for 4K 10-bit 4:2:0 recording at 120 fps, 10-bit 4:2:2 HD recording at up to 240 fps and HD 10-bit 4:2:0 recording at up to 300 fps.
