One problem with large-sensor cameras is the image stabilization. While Sony with the optical unit is completely portable with its consumer models, which is possible to use this technique for interchangeable lenses is simply not possible. Here, the image stabilizer is usually installed in the optics. However, bright prime lenses, the many filmmakers prefer built-in image stabilizer, however, are rarely found, and when it is usually very expensive. With the coming GX7 Panasonic wants to move on rumors the sensor design and use it to stabilize. This then would benefit all existing lenses to good. Olympus has already shown us with Micro Four Thirds with good results, but the video features are designed, modest to say the least formulated in the previous Olympus models.
