Panasonic upgrades in its MFT LEICA lens series the H-ES35100 as well as the H-RSA100400. Both telephoto zoom lenses meet LEICA&s stringent optical standards and are therefore said to offer outstanding photographic performance.
Panasonic&s current MFT lineup includes 32 Micro Four Thirds optics, about half of which (15) are LEICA DG lenses.
The LEICA DG VARIO-ELMARIT 35-100mm/F2.8/POWER O.I.S. (H-ES35100) is a re-engineered LEICA DG lens. It offers high speed at all zoom ranges with its continuous F2.8 aperture.

Lens construction with two extra-low dispersion (ED) lenses and one ultra extra-low dispersion (UED) lens is said to provide excellent photographic performance throughout the zoom range. In addition to Panasonic&s Nano Surface Coating technology, the use of a light-shielding layer is said to eliminate unwanted light inside the lens.
In the full-frame 35mm range, the lens would correspond to a typical focal length range of from 70mm to 200mm. The Power O.I.S. is integrated and can also be used as a Dual I.S. in combination with a suitable camera.
Nearly the same for the LEICA DG VARIO-ELMAR 100-400mm/F4.0-6.3 II ASPH./POWER O.I.S. (H-RSA100400). Combining an aspherical lens, two extra-low dispersion (ED) lenses, and an ultra extra-low dispersion (UED) lens, the lens is said to deliver consistently high resolutions while maintaining high contrast.

With a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 200mm to 800mm, this ultra-zoom lens is primarily suited for capturing hard-to-reach subjects such as wild birds and animals, as well as sporting events. Via the separately available 2.0x teleconverter, the maximum focal length range can be doubled again to an extreme 1600 mm.
Both lenses are scheduled to be available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from November 2023. The H-ES35100E is expected to cost 1,249 euros, while the H-RSA100400E will retail for 1,699 euros.
