Rumors about an upcoming Panasonic launch are growing on the web, and it could be quite something. The first hints of a
S5 Mark II with an improved autofocus were already given at the beginning of November, but now you can read a complete list of alleged specifications on several rumor sites.

Panasonic S5 successor in the starting blocks?
While you should never take leaked information at face value, why not take a look anyway - in fact, not just one, but two versions of the S5 Mark II are supposedly coming. Both are said to shoot in 6K (up to 30p), but one is also said to bring streaming capabilities as well as support Apple ProRes recording.
In 4K, you&re now supposed to be able to film at up to 60p, and indeed a new phase-detection AF also shows up in the colocated specs. The sensor resolution seems to remain the same (24MP), but the camera itself seems to be a bit bigger.
No site currently gives a concrete launch date, but the CES in Las Vegas starts on January 5, which would naturally be a good time for a launch. Pricing information does not seem to be circulating yet either. But maybe the veil will be lifted in a few days - we are very curious.
