Panasonic is offering its compact Super 35mm camera 
VariCam LT as part of a promotional campaign until September 30, 2019 at a greatly reduced price. The camera body (AU-V35LT1G) will get a discount of 5.500 Euro on the retail price as well as a discount of 7.300 Euro on the complete kit, consisting of VariCam LT camera body and EVF (AU-V35LT1G + AU-VCVF20GJ ) - both prices without VAT. The RRP is 18.500 Euro net for the case and 24.200 € for the kit.
The special offer price applies to participating partners/dealers throughout Europe (a similar offer also runs in the USA). Panasonic emphasizes however that it does not concern a permanent price reduction, but only a promotion limited in the running time.
Panasonic VariCam LT
The VariCam LT features the same Super 35mm sensor with 14+ Stops dynamic range under V-Log as the VariCam 35, which is probably the most exciting feature currently available: Dual Native ISO recording at 800/5000 ISO with almost the same noise behaviour thanks to separate circuits. The VariCam LT also features color management from the VariCam 35, which, according to Panasonic, is supposed to be characterized by particularly high color fidelity across the entire dynamic range. The VariCam LT has the option of changing the mount between PL (optional) and EF - and this pain can be done by the user himself and is therefore quite uncomplicated.
