competition for DJIs introduced in January
PIC1§:Parrot Anafi Videos are recorded in HDR 4K (UltraHD 4K and Cinema 4K) with 100 Mbps, but only in 30 or 24fps - FullHD with 30 fps and 720p with 60 fps - the low frame rate at high resolutions are not exactly optimal for the per se strongly moving pictures from the flight. However, Mavic Air only records 4K videos at 30 fps. The remote control at Parrot is also a combination of a housing with two joysticks and a holder for the smartphone, which displays the flight videos and flight data live via FreeFlight 6 App (iOS/Android) - the range for control including streaming is up to 4 kilometres. Of course, the automatic flight modes via app are also important for such a drone, with the help of which the drone recognizes objects and independently tracks them together with the camera shot. Unfortunately there is no collision detection, i.e. the drone does not automatically avoid obstacles - the pilot must ensure this and in the automatic flight modes for an obstacle-free flight environment. However, geofencing and a Smart Return To Home function as well as special flight recording modes such as the dolly zoom mode are implemented. VY=pbezR-3wCNM The maximum flight time in good flight conditions is 25 minutes, the maximum speed is 55 km/h. The 2700 mAh battery is charged via USB-C and is exchangeable, but a second battery is required for continuous flight operation. The Parrot Anafi weighs only 320 grams - significantly less than the 430g DJI Mavic Air. The sale of the Parrot Anafi starts on July 1st and can be pre-ordered - the price of 700 Euro is very competitive with the DJI Mavic Air, which is currently available at ![]() Bild zur Newsmeldung:
