Particle systems for Olympic footsteps

As a number of news agencies reported today, were short sequences of the opening ceremonies of the Olympics in Beijing, where fireworks generated by huge Fusstapfen sign of compromise on the stage, already 1 years previously as a computer animation have been developed. These were then integrated into the live broadcast recorded - but hardly anyone seems to "trick" to have noticed ... Hollywood in Beijing ...
