The new curved 34" monitor from Philips is the perfect desktop monitor with a large desktop area. It has a WQHD (3,440 x 1,440 pixels) resolution in 21:9 ultra-wide format. Its VA panel with a maximum brightness of 300 nits, Adaptive Sync support and a DeltaE value of less than 2 can display the NTSC color space at 100%, the sRGB at 119% and the Adobe RGB color space at 90%.
The Philips 346B1C's interfaces include a DisplayPort 1.2, an HDMI 2.0 port, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (upstream) port and a USB hub with 4 USB 3.2 ports - one of which also has a quick load function. Since a KVM switch is integrated, two PCs can use the same monitor together with only one keyboard and mouse. A USB-C docking station is also integrated into the monitor, i.e. a notebook connected via USB-C is also supplied with power and connected to a network to which the monitor is connected via its Gigabit Ethernet port.

Using MultiView technology, the Philips 346B1 can be used simultaneously as a monitor with several computers using a split screen. For greater ergonomics, it features FlickerFree technology, LowBlue and EasyRead modes, and is 180° tilt, swivel and height adjustable. An integrated power sensor ensures that the screen automatically switches to energy-saving mode when no one is sitting in front of the device.
The Philips 346B1C will be available from November 2019 at a price of €609.
