For this, however, the sensor corresponds to the real Super35mm format and has been specially designed with fewer pixels for digital film applications. About the PL mount adapter 35mm Cine Lenses are directly docked. For an integrated zoom rocker Sony plans to continue its own power zoom lenses. It captures with variable frame rates in the typical XDCAM EX format, on such a device with 8-bit 4:2:0 recording act fairly lost. For this edition are still more than 10-bit 4:2:2 SDI in it, a for April 2011 announced dual link RGB 4:4:4 option even up to 1080p30 or 1080p60 at up to YUV 4:2:2. The high-resolution display viewfinder or accepted by the EX1R. Further details can be found on the linked page Sony, incidentally, is already delivered in January. Some users even speculate that this is not Sony Panasonic wants to leave all the field too long, however, the competitors seem so only once in completely different price leagues to play.
