The working group for documentary film (AG DOK) invites you to present the camera tests 2016 and 2017 in cinema. An impressive number of current cameras took part in the AG DOK camera tests. An impressive performance. So far only a short, preliminary report on the AG DOK Camera Test 2017.2 was available, which had been discussed with a lot of commitment ![]()
If you are interested in the comprehensive evaluation and the DCP-playout and projection, you should make your way to Sputnik in Berlin next Monday - the entrance is free of charge (which we find pretty cool). Here is the official announcement: The AG DOK, Germany&s largest film association, has carried out three tests over the past year and a half in which the majority of all new cameras used in documentary film have been examined. The choice of devices was limited to those with RAW or log recording and almost exclusively exchangeable optics. The tests focus on image quality. Tested were Arri Amira, Blackmagicdesign Ursa Mini Pro, Production Camera 4K, Cinema Camera and Pocket Cinema Camera, Canon EOS C200, C300II and XC15, Panasonic Varicam LT, EVA1, Lumix GH5, Red Epic W Helium 8K and Red Raven, Sony FS7II, Alpha 7SII and Alpha 6500, Kinifinty Terra. The team presents the test images via DCP and discusses the results. Also inspired by Steve Yedlin ASC&s resolution demo, his 3 main theorems on misguided views of resolution are also demonstrated using the AG DOK test material." When: Monday, 29.01.2018,19.00 hours Where: Sputnik Cinema (admission free) Courtyards at Südstern, 3rd backyard, 5th floor Hare heath 54 10967 Berlin ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Präsentation des AG DOK Kameratests im Kino |
