RØDE has fundamentally revised its Central App and simultaneously introduced a new, standalone RØDECaster App for its RØDECaster and Streamer X mixer and interface series. The goal is an optimized and more consistent user experience across different devices. ;) RØDE Central App
### The New Features of the RØDE Central App The most important change in RØDE Central is the alignment of the mobile version with its desktop counterpart. For the first time, the mobile app now mirrors the design and functionality of the desktop application to offer a consistent user interface and logic on every platform. In addition, user support has been integrated directly into the app: * Integrated Help: User manuals and useful tips, specifically tailored to each connected RØDE product, are now directly accessible. This is intended to provide users with clear explanations of key functions and settings. * Faster Access to Support: Direct links to the RØDE website, detailed device-specific manuals, and the company&s support page enable quick help without having to leave the app. The updated RØDE Central App supports a wide range of RØDE products: Desktop Version (macOS 11 or later, Windows 10 Version 1803 or later): * Wireless Microphones: Wireless GO II, Wireless GO (Gen 3), Wireless ME, Wireless Micro, Wireless PRO, Interview PRO * Classic Microphones: PodMic USB, VideoMic NTG, VideoMic GO II, NT-USB+, NT-USB Mini, NT1 5th Generation, XCM-50, XDM-100 * Audio Interfaces: AI-Micro Mobile Version (iOS 14 or later, Android 9.0 or later): * Wireless Microphones: Wireless GO II, Wireless GO (Gen 3), Wireless ME, Wireless Micro, Wireless PRO, Interview PRO * Classic Microphones: PodMic USB, VideoMic GO II, NT-USB+, NT-USB Mini * Audio Interfaces: AI-Micro ;) RØDECaster App ### New: The Dedicated RØDECaster App Parallel to the update of RØDE Central, the RØDECaster App is being introduced. This application is specifically designed for users of the RØDECaster product family and aims to provide the best possible experience in management and configuration. Interestingly, the RØDECaster App retains the look and feel of the original version of RØDE Central. It is dedicated to managing the following interfaces: * RØDECaster Pro II * RØDECaster Duo * Streamer X ### Availability of the New Apps Both the new RØDE Central App and the RØDECaster App are now available for desktop operating systems (macOS and Windows) on the RØDE website rode.com/de/apps/rode-central for download.
