RØDE has introduced the NT-USB Mini, a new microphone that is primarily aimed at content creators who want to use a professional microphone on the move without any further ado. The latest model in RØDE&s NT-USB microphone series features a compact design (it is only 89mm wide and 141mm high) and a low weight of only 585g. The RØDE NT-USB Mini houses a high quality electret condenser capsule with cardioid polar pattern, a frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and a dynamic range of 96 dB. The digitized audio data (24-bit and 48 kHz sample rate) is output via USB-C. It has a built-in stereo headphone amplifier with 3.5mm output for latency-free direct monitoring of the recording. The volume and level can be adjusted with dedicated controls. A detachable magnetic attachment allows it to be easily mounted on a table or attached to a microphone stand or studio arm, and the integrated 360-degree swivel mount allows it to be quickly positioned correctly.
