The new Wireless Micro Camera Receiver complements the existing system of two small wireless microphones and a smartphone receiver by adding the ability to record the audio signal from the microphones together with the video on the camera via its 3.5mm mini-jack connection. In addition, it can be used as a digital audio source on the PC via USB-C. Officially, the camera receiver costs 89.99 euros, but owners of the Wireless Micro as well as future buyers will receive the Wireless Micro Camera Receiver as a free upgrade, giving them professional, wireless two-channel audio directly in the video recording. In order to have enough power even during longer recording sessions, the RØDE Wireless Micro Camera Receiver automatically detects when the camera is active and ready to record, and only then goes into receive mode; otherwise, it switches to sleep mode. ;) RØDE Wireless Micro Camera Receiver The USB-C port of the RØDE Wireless Micro Camera Receiver (RX) has several functions: It can be used for charging and firmware updates as well as for the external output of digital audio.
