Generative AI is already demonstrating extraordinary capabilities in the areas of image processing and image generation. A major topic here is the incorporation of "fixed" content into the generated results. For example, your own face in a job application photo or a specific product image in a generated environment.
Ultimately, the project is based on two AI projects that are "only" cleverly combined here. One is an inpainting application that allows only parts of an image to be generated by an AI. And the second is an AI object selection mechanism that enables the selection and cropping of an object in an image without having to laboriously define its edges. ;) ReplaceAnything replaces and adds people and things in high quality The deliberately selected demo images of the project look quite impressive. Especially as the AI is usually very good at combining objects with other elements in the image quite naturally. They rarely look like foreign objects in an inappropriate environment. As is usually the case with such AI projects, there will be a corresponding paper for those interested - but this has not yet been published. And thankfully, it is now even good practice to include an interface for your own experiments, such as  this HuggingFace demo. ;) ReplaceAnything replaces and supplements people and things in high quality In fact, you can start experimenting with your own images right away, as long as you can accept a certain waiting time with HuggingFace&s free computer capacity.
