Headphones seem to be in vogue right now. After we have just intensively dealt with Top Wireless Noisecancelling Headphones on slashCAM, Rode freshly introduces its first own studio headphones NTH-100.
Rode names "all forms of content creation, whether in the studio, on location recording, for music and video production, or even for podcasting and livestreaming" as the area of application. From an audio specialist like Rode expect here above all a rather linearly aligned headphone, which goes to work with high neutrality without dynamic boost and exactly that seems to have considered Rode with the conception of the NTH-100.
Highlights of the new Rode NTH-100 include: Alcantara memory foam ear cups with integrated CoolTech™ gel, which is designed to absorb heat and cool the ears and head, thereby reducing listening fatigue; a new FitLok closure system; and a detachable (lockable) 2.4-meter straight connecting cable (3.5mm TRS jack).
The frequency response is 5 - 35,000 Hz, the impedance is 32 ohms, and Rode claims the sensitivity is 110 dB and the max sound pressure is 126 dB SPL.
The new Rode NTH-100 should be available immediately at an MSRP of 179 euros.
We are already excited about the first tests ...
