Rolands has introduced the V-02HD MK II Streaming Video Mixer, a new livestream video mixer for two cameras (or other video sources such as computers, mobile devices and game consoles). Two 3.5mm audio inputs can be used to feed microphones or audio from an external source.
In addition, embedded stereo audio from HDMI sources, such as microphones connected to the cameras, can be processed. Integrated mixing functions for all audio sources can be used to apply features such as compressors, EQs, reverb, formant shift, or robot sounds with the Voice Changer effect. The audio signals can also be delayed via Delay to compensate for synchronization problems with the cameras.
Via HDMI, two cameras can be connected to the Roland V-02HD MK II Streaming Video Mixer - the resulting signal (maximum 1080p video at 60 fps) is then output via USB-C to a PC, where the mixer can then be selected as a camera source in the appropriate streaming software, such as OBS Studio, to stream to YouTube, Zoom, Facebook or Twitch. Via two HDMI outputs, the video can also still be displayed on a preview monitor, for example. The sound can be output to headphones for control.
