Now Rotolight has announced the SmartSoft Box, which is used in conjunction with the new 1.4 kg LED studio light  AEOS 2, giving it an electronically variable diffusion of 1.5 f-stops. This makes it easy to switch between soft and hard light fall-off. Since possibility of control of the SmartSoft Box is already integrated in the AEOS 2 light, the electronic diffusion can be done by means of the integrated touch screen of the AEOS 2 light or alternatively via the new Rotolight app. ;) Rotolight App For filmmakers and photographers alike, the ability to change the light cast of an LED light at the touch of a button is a welcome simplification and acceleration of work, as it eliminates the need to manually install various gels and modifiers. The SmartSoft box itself can be mounted on the AEOS 2 in seconds.
