We have already reported several times on
at slashCAM about Runway's Motion Brush, but now its functionality has been significantly expanded once again.
Background: With the Motion Brush, you can mark special areas in any still image where you would like to see movement. At the same time, you can also use a prompt to specify approximately what should happen in the movement. Runway Gen-2 then animates the marked areas.
Runway recognizes the typical movements of an object from the still image. And the generated movements also influence the non-selected areas - for example in light changes, waves or shadows.

The Runway Multi Motion Brush - can animate objects in different directions
The new Runway Multi Motion Brush in the Gen 2 model now allows you to define no less than 5 (!) areas with different brush configurations. This means that objects can now also move away from each other or cross over each other in a planned manner.
The new Multi Motion Brush is now available in the Gen-2 interface. The following clip shows a short demo with examples:
