Sachtler has just announced the expansion of its ACE XL tripod systems 
here our ACE XL Test to include aluminium tripods and thus offer a low-cost entry into the Sachtler ACE XL series. Up to now, the ACE XL tripod system has only been available with carbon tripods: either the ACE 75/2 CF or the new Flowtech 75 MS.
While the new ACE XL GS AL is equipped with a ground spreader, the ACE XL MS AL system is supplied with a mid-level spreader. The tripods appear to be variants of the Sachter ENG 75/2 D. So double tripod systems with 2 locking screws per leg.
The ACE XL GS AL system offers working heights of 56-173 cm and the ACE XL MS AL of 79-170 cm. Both ACE-XL tripod systems are approved for temperatures from -30-60° Celcius and are supplied with Sachtler rubber feet and transport bag
Sachtler has not yet listed any prices for the new ACE XL tripod systems. For your orientation: The Sachtler Ace XL MS CF System costs 995, - Euro
The ACE XL GS AL and the ACE XL MS AL system will be available immediately.
