Sachtler expands its "aktiv" tripod head series with the three models aktiv10T, aktiv12T and aktiv14T. They are compatible with all 100mm half-shell tripods from Sachtler (except the HotPod) and are designed for higher loads than the previously available aktiv fluid heads. Setups up to 12Kg can be lifted with the aktiv10T, 14Kg with the aktiv12T and the aktiv14T carries up to 16Kg.

The special feature of the aktiv heads is the SpeedLevel lever on the front of the tripod head for leveling, locking and quick removal of the tripod head. It replaces the classic locking handle with thread, which is why the tripod can also be set up very low to the ground. The counterbalance can be adjusted in 15 steps, drag in 7.
Cameras are attached via the Sachtler Touch & Go camera plate. The tripod head and camera can be quickly moved between different tripods, sliders, jibs, etc. using the "SpeedSwap" or adaptor.
The two aktiv12T and aktiv14T heads replace the older Sachtler DV12 and Video15 heads, respectively. Prices for the 100mm fluid heads start at £2,150 - we don't know a Euro price yet, and a delivery date is still pending.
