Samyang expands its existing XEEN CF product line with the new 135mm T2.2 focal length. The 8K-capable lenses cover a full-frame image circle (43.3mm) and are available with Canon EF, Sony E and ARRI PL mounts.

Samyang XEEN CF 135mm T2.2
Lightweight and compact thanks to the use of carbon fiber in the lens barrel, the lens lineup thus includes six focal lengths (16, 24, 35, 50, and 85mm are already available), all of which have a uniform front diameter of 95mm and gears for follow focus and iris at the same position.
The focus travel is 200°, and the closest focusing distance on this new addition is 80cm. The aperture is composed of 11 blades. With a weight of 1.4Kg (1.5 for Sony E), the 135mm lens is heavier than the other Xeens, which are more like 0.9-1Kg.
The X-Coating coating technology used is said to effectively control light reflection within the lens to achieve a "distinctive look. Dramatic effects can be achieved through the proper use of lens flares and ghosting."
The XEEN CF 135mm T2.2 lens is priced at ,299 and is available for pre-order now; it should be available in October.
