The XEEN Meister cine lens series for full-frame, in which the 35mm T1.3, 50mm T1.3 and 85mm T1.3 focal lengths have been available so far, is being expanded by two more lenses at the wide-angle end. A 24mm, also with a T1.3, and a 14mm, the latter with a T2.6 speed, will appear. ![]() Samyang XEEN Master Cine Lens Series The 14mm also differs in diameter, it is a bit more flared than the 24mm with a front diameter of 134mm (with 114mm diameter as well as the other 3 lenses). The weight is 1.5Kg for the 14mm and 2.0Kg for the 24mm. For both optics, the closest focusing distance is 35mm. The aperture is composed of 13 blades. The focus travel extends over 300°.
The XEEN Master Series with X-Coating supports resolutions up to 8K and covers an image circle of 43.2mm. It is offered for three different camera mounts, PL, Sony E and Canon EF mount. On the PL mount, metadata recording is supported via /i protocol. Priced at €7,999 per lens (for the 35 / 50 / 85mm versions, n/a on the new additions), the master lenses are unusually high-priced for Samyang. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Samyang ergänzt XEEN Meister-Serie um zwei Weitwinkel-Objektive (14mm T1.3, 24mm T2.6) |
