Save on Mac Mini 4 and more: Amazon Prime Day – Selected Deals for Video, Photo & More.

Before things really kick off with discounts around Black Friday next month, Amazon is once again holding its Prime Deal Days starting today. During this event, Prime members can purchase selected products at significantly reduced prices – for example, if you didn&t snap up the Mac Mini in July, you can do so now, as it&s available at a discounted price again. Among cameras, we found the Panasonic LUMIX S5IIX at a reduced price, as well as the Canon LEGRIA HF G70 4K camcorder and the latest 360° action cameras from Insta360 and DJI.

We have listed further attractive deals below, such as headphones from Sennheiser, various lenses and cameras (including from Canon), as well as NVMes from SanDisk, and other products from the photo, video, and electronics sectors. It is always advisable to check the current market price for comparison before making a purchase, as Amazon usually only states the original RRP, which can make the discounts appear higher than they actually are. (Incidentally, the deal prices mentioned here may change again over the next few hours, as Amazon frequently makes adjustments depending on availability.)

And as mentioned, the offers are unfortunately only valid for Amazon Prime members – however, non-members can also access the bargains via the free trial month (just don&t forget to cancel the subscription within the trial period if necessary, otherwise monthly subscription fees will apply!).

To counter Amazon, other retailers are now also running their own discount campaigns during the same period – MediaMarkt, for example, has its Flash Deals until tomorrow, though (as far as we could see) almost entirely without imaging products. And last but not least, some manufacturers offer their promotional products through specialist photo retailers as part of cashbacks or instant discounts, which then also run for longer and without the Amazon Prime requirement. For example, we have not included many Prime offers for Sony and Canon products here, as these can be obtained just as cheaply through specialist retailers.

Apple Mac Mini M4 for only 569 Euros

The smallest and cheapest current Mac comes with 16 GB RAM and is

already surprisingly powerful, even as an editing computer. Since it only comes with 256 GB SSD storage,

an affordable expansion with an external SSD is recommended – but there are attractive offers for that too. And the

Apple Magic Keyboard is also discounted to 142 Euros.

Canon LEGRIA HF G70 4K camcorder is available for 789 instead of 1,069.99 Euros (the latter being the normal Amazon price).

360° Action Cams on Offer

Both Insta360 and DJI are offering their current 360° cameras at reduced prices for the Prime Days. The

Insta360 X4 in the Standard Bundle - waterproof 8K 360 Action Camera is only 389 Euros and the new

DJI Osmo 360 in the Standard Combo is only 370 Euros.

But the "normal" action cam

DJI Osmo Action 4 is also reduced by 15%.

Lenses

From Sony and Canon, there are primarily many lenses on the Prime discount list, however, many also seem to be on offer elsewhere due to the manufacturer promotions mentioned earlier. Not all, though – the

Sony FE 35mm F1.8 Wide-Angle Prime Lens for Full Frame, for example, is available for 459 Euros as part of the Prime promotion, while the normal price is usually around 519 Euros. Anyone looking for a specific lens might, with a bit of diligence, find further special bargains.
