As an editor, you are often tied to the software environment of studios, broadcasters or agencies -- collaboration across program boundaries is usually cumbersome. A new plug-in will simplify workflows in October, giving Adobe Premiere Pro users seamless access to the Avid MediaCentral platform.
The Nexidia-based phonetic search, which makes it easier to find original sound clips or dialogue passages in videoclips, is also integrated. In addition, multiplatform delivery and send-to-playback are supported so that Premiere Pro can be fully integrated into larger production workflows.
