Soon, the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN | Contemporary will also be available for the Fujifilm X-mount. So far, the compact zoom lens has been offered specifically for mirrorless cameras with an APS-C sensor for L-mount (i.e. roughly the Sigma fp) as well as Sony E-mount. The focal length range corresponds to a 35mm-equivalent 27-75mm, and the magnification is up to 1:2.8.

The three fast fixed focal lengths 16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary and 56mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary announced earlier this year for the FUJIFILM X-mount platform will make four lenses available for Fujifilm X cameras.
Three high-precision, bright-molded aspheres and a reduction in the number of optical elements overall (13 elements in 10 groups) are said to combine high imaging quality with light weight (290g). As with other lenses, Sigma makes use of in-camera correction of aberrations such as distortion and vignetting. Flare and ghosting are reduced by a Super Multi-Layer Coating (SML).
The optics feature a fast and "nearly" silent autofocus, driven by a stepper motor. Auto focus with automatic eye detection used in newer mirrorless cameras is supported. The aperture consists of 7 blades. The filter diameter is 55mm.
