Alongside the newly ![]() These full-frame zoom lenses are based on the optical design of two Sigma Art lenses, each with a corresponding focal length range, but are ergonomically and mechanically designed for the needs of film productions. Thus, the aperture is stepless and the focus travel is limited. The three lens rings are equipped with 0.8M gears for the use of focus pullers and the like.
According to Sigma, the autofocus driven by a linear motor (HLA) should operate almost silently and offer excellent tracking capabilities. The minimum focusing distance is 0.3m for the 28-45mm and 0.4m for the 28-105mm. Flares and ghosting should be minimal. The zooms with a 95mm diameter accept front filters of type M 82 x 0.75 mm and measure 151.3 and 157.9 mm in length, respectively. (Weight information is still pending.) They will be available for L-Mount and Sony E-Mount. The zoom lenses of the AF Cine Line are currently still under development. The Sigma 28-45mm T2 FF is scheduled to be released this November, while the Sigma 28-105mm T3 FF will not be available until spring 2026. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Sigma 28-45mm T2 FF und 28-105mm T3 FF in Entwicklung |
