Sigma announced a new cine fixed focal length at IBC. The 65mm lens will appear in two versions, one as a fast High Speed Prime Line 65mm T1.5 FF, the other in the Classic Prime Line as 65mm T2.5 FF.

High Speed Prime Line 65mm T1.5 FF, Classic Prime Line 65 mm T2.5 FF
According to Sigma, the optical system is the same in both cases, but Classic Prime Line lenses rely on uncoated (or differently coated) lenses. This is said to allow for high 8K resolution as well as "classic" image expression with low contrast and desired flare and ghosting effects.
Both lens lines thus include 11 focal lengths each, ranging from 14mm to 135mm. The FF High Speed Prime Line will be available with PL (compatible with /i technology), Canon EF and Sony E-mounts, while the FF Classic Prime Line will appear exclusively with PL mounts.
Furthermore, the Sigma FF Classic Prime Line lenses will now be sold individually - previously they were only available as a set. Sigma does not mention prices.
