Thursday 05 October promises to be an interesting day for all Sigma (and presumably L-mount) users: Because Sigma Global announces a product launch for 05 October 5 PM JST (10:00 AM our time zone). ;)
The  rumour mill speculates on a fast full-frame portrait zoom (70-200mm f/2.8) for E- and L-mounts and an equally fast wide-angle zoom (10-18mm f/2.8) for X, E and L-mounts with S35/APS-C sensor coverage. It is true that Sigma has a flagship 70-200 in its portfolio with the 70-200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Sports - but here the "DN" variant is currently missing. A quick reminder: in Sigma&s nomenclature, the abbreviation "DN" stands for lenses that were designed for the short run dimensions of mirrorless cameras. The Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Sports is currently "only" available for Canon EF mount, Nikon F mount and SA mount. In this context, we also find it exciting whether there will be a cooperation between Canon and Sigma regarding Canon RF mount lenses - rumours to this effect have been circulating time and again - many Canon users would certainly be happy about an announcement to this effect.
