Two years ago, we stumbled across the first Sirui 50mm/F1.8 anamorphic lens at IFA (fortunately not literally...) -- since then, the manufacturer seems to have established itself on the market with its affordable anamorphic lenses, and 4 focal lengths are now available for MFT. Soon the crowdfunding of the first full-frame anamorphic lens will start. ![]() Sirui 50mm T2.9 1.6x The Sirui 50mm T2.9 will feature a slightly larger compression factor of 1.6x, resulting in an equalized aspect ratio of 2.8:1 (with 16:9 sensor) or 2.4:1. The optical design includes 16 elements in 13 groups. The focus and aperture rings are equipped with toothed rings, and the aperture is de-clicked. The closest focusing distance is 75cm, and the filter diameter is 82mm. There will be four different mount options, E, L, RF and Z.
That&s as far as the information that can be gleaned from the teaser video and product images. On Indiegogo, the lens is said to be available for pre-order for 1,199 (with the usual risks), but as of when is not yet known. The regular price will be around 1,500. ![]() Sirui 50mm T2.9 1.6x frame grab ![]() Sirui 50mm T2.9 1.6x ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Sirui 50mm T2.9 1.6x -- günstiger Vollformat-Anamorphot bald im Crowdfunding |
