SmallHD unveiled its new 4K OLED 27 production and grading monitor at NAB 2022, the brightest and largest in its lineup to date. Weighing around 6kg, the OLED 27 is designed for mobile operation on set and can be battery powered. The SmallHD 27" OLED offers HDR support, true 10-bit color depth, brightness of up to 550 nits and - thanks to OLED - true black and a very good contrast ratio of more than 1,000,000:1. ;) SmallHD 27" OLED
The SmallHD 27" OLED covers the professional DCI-P3 color space to 110% DCI-P3 and the Rec. 709 to 135% and has four 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI inputs and four 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI outputs as well as one HDMI 2.0 input. All of the monitor&s features are accessed through the Page Builder software toolset in SmallHD&s PageOS 4.1, which features a redesigned user interface, pre-configured pages and page tabs. Monitoring features include a calibration wizard, false color overlays, waveform, pixel zoom, focus wizard, vectorscope, Color Pipe HDR color rendering, peaking and improved function keys. In addition, the OLED 27 is compatible with Teradek&s Bolt 4K video radio link. ;) SmallHD 27" OLED The SmallHD 27" OLED can be mounted via the VESA brackets on the back or via a 1/4"-20 thread on the top and sides of the monitor. Power is supplied via a 3-pin XLR input or via a separately available dual V-mount or gold-mount battery plate for two batteries that can be hot-swapped. 3D LUTs can be stored and loaded onto a memory card via an SD card slot. The monitor also has an RJ45 Ethernet port and an RJ45 GPI port for additional configuration options.
