SmallHD has added another model to its Cine line of portable bright 4K production monitors, which, at 18" screen diagonal, sits between the previous 13" and 24" models. The Cine 18 features an 18" (45.72 cm) Edgelit LCD panel with 3,840 x 2,160 resolution (240 PPI) and 1,000:1 contrast. It supports 10-bit (8 + 2) color bit depth and covers 100% of Rec 709 and 98% of DCI-P3 professional color space. ![]() SmallHD Cine 18 rear panel with interfaces Four 12G-SDI connectors each are available as inputs and outputs, plus an HDMI 2.0 input and output. Power is supplied via a 4-pin XLR input (210 W max, 12 - 34 VDC, 18 A max), or via (optionally available) dual gold-mount/V-mount battery plate for mobile operation. Power outputs for accessories include two 2pin (12V / 2A combined), two USB (5V / 2.4A) (front/rear), and one USB-C (5V / 1.5A) output.
