Small HD has released a number of interesting new features for its popular monitor models (FOCUS, 500 Series, 700 Series, UltraBrights, 1300 Series, 1700 Series, 2400 Series, and 3200 Series) with its OS3 firmware update. Among the most important new features are new auto-calibration functions with the SmallHD Color Probe, freely configurable False Color Display, an Image Gallery Viewer and quite cool: a spotmeter built into the Luma waveform.
The latter allows you to freely select a section of the image and then display it in a different color on the luma waveform. In our opinion, False Color still seems to be the tool with the greater practical relevance, but in any case an interesting implementation of the topic of spot measurement.
