SmallRig introduces the M3 LED Light for smartphones, a versatile LED light designed for mobile filmmaking. The M3 light can be attached either with a clip-on clamp to the edge of the phone or via a magnetic ring to the back of compatible smartphones (e.g., iPhones via MagSafe). ;)
Thanks to its 360-degree joint, it can be used for illumination during mobile filmmaking as well as a selfie light for laptops and smartphones. ;) With a depth of only 1.1cm, it has a comparatively slim profile. SmallRig states the runtime with the integrated battery is 2.5 hours. The new M3 LED Light weighs 84g, and its color temperature is adjustable within a range of 2700 – 6500 Kelvin.
