Apple&s new iPhone 16 Pro line-up has been available to buy in Germany for around 10 days - so it&s high time for accessory manufacturers to launch their products on the market too. SmallRig has now introduced its smartphone cage solution for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max with the Mobile Dual Handheld Kit. Here is the corresponding promotional clip:
In its maximum version, the SmallRig Mobile Dual Handheld Kit consists of FilMov Phone Case (including Lens Trim Ring), FilMov T-mount Lens Backplate, Dedicated Cage, Rotatable Handle with Wireless Control, Rotatable Side Handle, TPU Soft Frame and User Manual. ;) If we have understood correctly, the iPhone can be installed in the cage either with the TPU Soft Frame or with the Phone Case. The advantage of installing with the Phone Case is the option to attach different filters or lens mounts (17mm thread) to the iPhone&s camera system. For ND filters, for example, a 67mm screw thread can be mounted here. ;) The rotatable handles can also be installed on the iPhone cage, which can be used both laterally and as a top handle. Integrated into a handle is a wireless remote button, which can also be removed from the handle and serves as a remote trigger for camera and photo shoots.
