SmallRig has announced the new "heavy-duty" video tripod AD-01 3751 with fluid head, which is also suitable for somewhat heavier camera setups up to max. 8 kg - but we wouldn't call it really "heavy duty" yet. The tripod head allows 360° panning movements and a vertical tilt range of +90° or -75°. There is a bubble level for balancing. A Manfrotto Quick Release plate is included for mounting the camera. However, the head is also compatible with the Quick Release plate of the DJI RS2 gimbal.
A 75mm half shell is used to attach the fluid head to the tripod, together they weigh about 4Kg. The working height can range from 85 to 186cm. There are several 1/4"-20 as well as 3/8"-16 threads to attach accessories.
