SmallRig presents its first video tripod head with adjustable damping and counterbalance - and thus a somewhat more professional standard. The counter-balance of the SmallRig fluid head PH8 can be adjusted in 6 steps and supports loads from 1 to 8 kg. The hydraulic damping can be adjusted in four stages for the swivel and tilt axis (the latter ranges from +90° / -60°).
The fluid head is made of an aluminum alloy and is comparatively light at 1.8 kg. It is designed for 75mm half shells and is leveled using a bubble level. The removable handle can be attached to the left or right via a rosette. The camera is attached via a quick release plate (not inserted; compatible with Manfrotto 501PL Quick Release Plate).
