Sony hat die nächste Generation seiner Creators Cloud-Plattform vorgestellt, die nach Unternehmen und professionellen Nutzern jetzt auch freien Content-Produzenten und Teams eine Reihe Anwendungen in Sonys Cloud zur Verfügung stellt. Sony entwickelt so in Konkurrenz zu Angeboten wie Adobe bzw. Frame.io´s Camera-to-Cloud ein eigenes Ökosystem von unterschiedlichen Anwendungen in Form von Apps für Computer, Cloud oder mobile Geräte, welches von der Aufnahme von Content mit der (Sony-)Kamera über die Speicherung, Organisation und Vorbearbeitung der Clips in der Cloud bis hin zur Vernetzung und Kooperation mit anderen Kreativen reicht.

The individual elements of the Sony Creators Cloud: Creators App as an interface to the cloud.The new Creators App for smartphones, which will launch in late February 2023, is the successor application to Sony&s Imaging Edge Mobile and will serve as an extension to the camera that allows users to upload their content (videos and photos) to the cloud and which can view and manage the content stored there. At launch, video and photo transfer from the camera to the cloud via smartphone using the Creators App, as well as remote camera control features, will be compatible with Sony Alpha 7 IV and ZV-1F camera models. Other models will then follow in the spring of 2023, namely the Sony Alpha 7R V, FX3 and FX30. Except for the Sony ZV-1F, all models will each require a software update to work with the Creators App. Photo and video content on the Creators& Cloud can also be shared with the community after upload. ![]() Creators App Key features of the Creators App: - Transferring files to the cell phone and to the cloud. - Remote control of the camera - Cloud storage - 25GB of free cloud storage for owners of select Sony cameras and 5GB of free storage for all users with a Sony account. In the future, cloud storage will also be expandable for a fee to 100 or 500 GB. Master Cut: Pre-video editing via AI.Brand new is Sony&s Master Cut (Beta 6), a cloud-based and AI-powered application that uses camera metadata to speed up pre-editing. Master Cut is designed to enable quick and easy pre-editing of video content before it is sent to a video editing program. At launch, Master Cut (Beta) will be offered as a free beta version, accessible via a web browser, and will be further developed based on user feedback. ![]() Master Cut Master Cut (Beta) offers the following features, among others: - Image stabilization using metadata - Noise reduction and audio level optimization by separating sound sources - Access with multiple devices thanks to synchronization in the cloud - Automatic grouping of similar clips through image analysis At launch, the following cameras are compatible with Master Cut (Beta): Sony FX3, FX30, Alpha 1/7R V/7S III/7 IV/7C, ZV-E10, ZV-1, ZV-1F, RX100 VII and RX0 II. Master Cut Beta is only available in the UK at launch, but will be rolled out in Europe as well as worldwide. DiscoverDiscover is Sony&s new community of creatives from around the world. Users can share their profile and a portfolio of selected content with their community to connect and also collaborate globally. In Discover, images and videos are displayed with information about the photo/film creator, camera and lens model, settings, genre and more, so creators can learn from and share with fellow creators.
