Sony Wintercashback and Trade-In 2022: Save up to 400 Euro when buying camera and lens

Sony is launching several special promotions for the winter of 2022 with the help of which potential buyers can save money: a winter cashback of up to 400 euros on the purchase of various Sony Alpha cameras and Sony FE lenses, which is supplemented by a trade-in of up to 300 euros and a bundle promotion on the purchase of a Sony Alpha 7R 5 with a selected lens.

Both the Sony Wintercashback promotion and the trade-in run until Jan. 15, 2023 - so still long enough to apply even when buying Christmas gifts. The cashback worth up to 400 euros, which can only be redeemed when buying from one of the

participating retailers, applies to Sony Alpha 9 II, 7 R IV, 7 III or 7 C cameras as well as a range of E-mount lenses (

here the detailed list) or a

Xperia 1 IV smartphone aimed specifically at filmmakers. To get the cashback, the sales invoice including serial number must be uploaded to

Sony by March 15, 2023.

The trade-in, which is worth up to 300 euros, applies to the trade-in of a used digital system camera when purchasing one of the following cameras: a Sony Alpha 7 III/IV solo or together with various lenses from Sony, Sigma, Samyang, Tamron or Zeiss. Prerequisite for the trade-in is a functional photo or video camera (camera type and manufacturer do not matter) or a used but functional photo lens (lens type and manufacturer do not matter either).

New Sony A7R V

There is still a special promotion for the Sony A7R V: when buying the just introduced

Sony Alpha 7R V in combination with a selected Sony GM lens, you can save up to 300 euros - however, this promotion only runs until 11/30/2022 - so if you want to buy an A7RV, you should hurry. The lenses are the Sony FE 16-35mm f2.8 GM, the Sony FE 24-70mm f2.8 GM II, the Sony SEL FE 70-200mm f2.8 GM II, the Sony FE 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 GM OSS and the Sony SEL FE 24mm f1.4 GM.
