Sony is teasing a camera launch for July 10, 16h, i.e. Wednesday next week - a new model in the ZV series is to be announced, in other words a small "vlog camera". After the ZV-1 Mark II was released last year, an update of the ZV-E10 is now likely to be on the cards, at least that&s what the
rumor sphere claims to have learned. In contrast to the ZV-1, this camera "only" has an APS-C sensor, but offers the option of working with interchangeable lenses.

The ZV-E10 was released three years ago
According to the unconfirmed information, the ZV-E10 II is to have a new sensor, namely the one from the A6700, and so we can hope for extended video functions, among other things. While the E10 could only record 4K at 30p, it could now be 60p, perhaps also with 10-bit 4:2:2 color sampling. However, for reasons of product differentiation, not all theoretically possible features are activated or implemented in every camera - it remains to be seen to what extent the "cripple hammer" will strike here. However, with an alleged price of around 1000 dollars, the new generation would also be more expensive than the E10.
Further improvements are said include a larger battery and the same microphone as on the ZV-E1, and user-defined LUT files could also be supported. When it comes to the AI chip for autofocus functions, the augurs are still divided. Let us be surprised.
