Sound Devices has introduced the Scorpio, a professional mobile 32-channel, 36-track, 16 mic/line preamplifier mixer recorder. It features 12 analog outputs, AES in/out and multiple headphone outputs, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications.

Functions like metering, 48V phantom power, analog limiter, routing, time code, mic pre gain, high pass filter, headphone presets, mid/side channel linking, delay and many more are included. The Scorpion&s user interface and menu system allow access with just one or two keystrokes - many functions and features are accessible with just one hand. The Scorpio has a built-in dual L-Mount battery charger and can be powered by L-Mount batteries.
