The Austrian storage specialist Angelbird has put together a bundle of suitable storage media for internal and external recording especially for Blackmagic's new Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, which meet the requirements for a sufficiently fast and reliable recording. The so-called Match Pack consists of an external Angelbird SSD2GO PKT 512 GB and an Angelbird AV PRO CF 256 GB CFast 2.0 memory card.
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K offers the possibility to record lossless 12-Bit-RAW and 4K60p in the camera on CFast 2.0 memory cards as well as on external SSDs via USB-C. The camera is equipped with a USB-C interface. The external SSD recording is particularly suitable for scenarios with particularly long recording times in high-quality RAW formats as well as fast ingest or editing from the SSD. The external SSD is powered by the camera. The Angelbird Match Pack covers both recording scenarios and promises sufficient performance - each medium is individually tested.
The small mobile SSD Angelbird SSD2GO PKT 512 GB with the dimensions 70.0 × 45.5 × 9.5 mm has a USB-C port and handles data transfer according to the standards Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.1 Gen2, USB 3.1 Gen1, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. The sequential write speed is up to 500 MB/s, the read speed up to 560 MB/s. The Angelbird AV PRO CF 256 GB CFast 2.0 memory card has a sequential write speed of up to 450 MB/s and a read speed of up to 550 MB/s. The card has a memory capacity of up to 500 MB/s and a read speed of up to 560 MB/s. The memory card has a memory capacity of up to 2,500 MB/s.
The Angelbird Match Pack Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K costs about 468 Euro and is available now. Angelbird also offers Match Packs for other cameras such as the Canon C200, Panasonic EVA1 and GH5 and Blackmagics Ursa Mini (Pro).
