Syrp has introduced a new evolution of its popular motion controller Genie, the Genie One. It can be mounted on a tripod and then programmed to perform precise pan and tilt movements with the camera or to perform a linear camera movement on a slider, for example for moving time-lapse shots.

The Syrp App can be used to program fast motion, video panning, panorama or stop-motion recording. Together with other Syrp models such as the Genie Mini or Genie Mini II, even more complex camera movements in up to three axes can be planned and realized via app, such as super resolution panoramas consisting of several rows of images or more interesting time-lapse movements including camera panning.

With the help of the app, time-lapse shots can be controlled, and camera movements in several dimensions, stop-motion, product turntable shots or super resolution panoramic images can be precisely programmed via keyframe edit. The movements can also be controlled live with a smartphone as joystick.
The Syrp Genie One provides several interfaces such as Wifi, Bluetooth and USB-C, is compact and easily portable. It has a battery life of 5 hours for continuous video recording and 48 hours for time-lapse recording. With an integrated linear disk system, the Genie Onen can also be used on sliders from other manufacturers.
