Tamron continues to expand its full-frame AF wide-angle zoom portfolio. After the powerful SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD with a constant F2.8, which additionally has image stabilization (but also weighs 1.1 kg), Tamron claims the 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD to be the most compact and lightest wide-angle zoom in its class. ![]()
With just 460g and a length of approx. 90mm, it is definitely one of the compact lightweights of its class. The low weight is made possible among other things by omitting the stabilization unit. ![]() Further technical details of the Tamron 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD include a continuous close distance of 28cm, a filter diameter of 77mm and a 7-blade aperture. In addition, Tamron points to special lens coatings that are to be optimized primarily for the wide-angle range. For us, the Tamron reads like another candidate for use with focal reducers on the gimbal - here we are already looking forward to initial tests. The price for the 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD is currently 999,- Euro. The Nikon version should be available from September 4th - the Canon version shortly after. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Tamron 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD - leichtestes Vollformat Weitwinkelzoom seiner Klasse |
