Besides the HEVC Livestreaming Box VidiU Go, Teradek presented the two new zero delay wireless video systems
Bolt XT and LT for monitoring recordings by radio at NAB 2018, each consisting of a transmitter and receiver and model pairs with different maximum ranges.
Both new model series are backward compatible with the old models Bolt 500, 1000, 3000, Bolt LT, Sidekick II, Bolt 10K and 703 Bolt. The functions of both series include AES 128 encryption for video transmission and multicasting with up to 4 receivers. The models can be attached to the camera rig using the various ⅜" and ¼"-20 mounting points and ARRI rosette (transmitter) or the integrated NATO rail (receiver). The Bolt 500 XT and LT transmitter's internal antennas have been replaced with an external set to improve performance.

Bolt XT 500 Transmitter and Receiver
The Bolt XT transmitter has dual input and output (SDI and HDMI) including SDI loop, the XT receiver has two SDI and one HDMI output. Additional features to the LT models include integrated cross-conversion and Teradek software tools such as manual frequency selection, a 3D LUT engine and a 5GHz spectrum analyzer.

Bolt XT Receiver
The Bolt 500 XT version with a range of 500 feet (152 meters) costs around 2,500 Euros, Bolt 1000 XT (304m) around 5,000 Euros and Bolt 3000 XT (914m) around 10,000 Euros. A Bolt XT 10.000 (with approx. 3km maximum range) model is announced. Each set contains transmitter plus receiver. Delivery is scheduled for May 2018.
The LT series is much cheaper (and a bit smaller in terms of connectivity/functionality) - they only have HDMI or 3G-SDI inputs and outputs on the transmitter and receiver - depending on the model type, but are otherwise based on the same hardware. The Bolt LT 500 HDMI version costs around 1,500 Euro, Bolt LT 500 3G-SDI around 2,000 Euro and Bolt LT 1000 3G-SDI around 4,000 Euro.
