Teradek is showing its iOS Monitoring Box Teradek Serv Pro at the IBC 2017, which can simultaneously transmit 1080p video via WLAN to several iOS devices (iPads/iPhones) with a latency of 2 frames. Serv Pro is connected to the camera via HDMI or 3G-SDI and can then send the camera's H. 264 compressed video and stereo audio to up to 4 iOS devices on the same network via 2.4 / 5Ghz WiFi or Ethernet. The maximum video bandwidth is 10 Mbps via WLAN and 15 Mbps via Ethernet.
Teradek Serv Pro
The Vuer App displays the video on the iOS device, and can also be displayed for monitoring of recordings such as vectorscope, waveform, focus peaking, histogram 3D LUTs and false color. The following resolutions are supported: 1080p 23.98/24/24/25/29.97/30/50/59.94/60,1080i 50/59.94/60,1080PsF 23/24/25/29/30,720p 50/59.94/60,576i, 480i, 480p (for HDMI input only), 576p (for HDMI input only).
Teradek Serv Pro costs about 2,150 Euro and will be delivered in Germany soon - but it can be pre-ordered from various dealers.
