DJI officially announces a new product for January 14th at 2 PM, with the words "Unfold new possibilities" - thanks to DJI-specialized leakers Jasper Ellens and Igor Bogdanov, we already know it&s the foldable mini drone Flip. Since last time almost two weeks ago, when we reported on the Flip, numerous pictures and technical data have been added, so we now know exactly what the Flip will be able to do. DJI Flip DJI Flip - what we already knowThe Flip is quite small in itself, but becomes much more compact for transport because its four rotors and propeller guards fold together into the area of a single rotor. Weighing 249 grams, it will be below the important weight limit of 250 grams and can therefore be flown with fewer restrictions than heavier drones - for example, you don&t need a drone license and can also fly over people (but not over groups of people). DJI Flip The Flip&s camera uses a 1/1.3" sensor (like the Mini 4 Pro) and can record 4K HDR videos at up to 60 fps - either on its 2 GB internal storage or a microSDXC memory card. Thanks to its 3110 mAh battery, it can stay in the air for up to 31 minutes or 28 minutes stationary - significantly longer than the 18 minutes of the DJI Neo and the 23 minutes of the Avata 2. The video data is transmitted using the O4 system for remote control (unfortunately not with the better O4+) - up to a distance of 14 kilometers (ideally) with the included RC2 remote control with integrated display. DJI Flip folded Similar to the Air 3S, the Flip also uses LiDAR for obstacle avoidance and also has AI-based object tracking to automatically obtain the optimal image section. Further features: Wi-Fi: 802.11a/b/g/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0 for app control. DJI Flip charging station The Flip&s battery is accessible from the top for the first time and can be easily changed using two release buttons on the sides. The Fly More Combo version also includes a new charging station that can charge two batteries simultaneously within 45 minutes. Photos of the Flip show a narrow horizontal display bar on the front, which displays symbols for the current flight and recording mode, which can then be easily selected. DJI Flip Display The DJI Flip: better than the Neo?Compared to the Mini drone Neo released about 4 months ago, it is significantly better, its housing is more compact, it has LiDAR for obstacle avoidance and the camera is better (1/1.3" to 1/2" sensor), but it is also significantly more expensive. DJI Flip LiDAR DJI wants the entire drone marketWith the Flip, DJI is directly attacking one of the last remaining major competitors in the drone market, namely the also foldable X1 models from HoverAir, whose selfie drones of the C0 drone class with automatic flight modes had found a niche in the market otherwise dominated by DJI. The Flip is now DJI&s answer to this, both in terms of appearance and functionality. HoverAir X1 Pro DJI is picking up the paceDJI is currently demonstrating an amazing publication speed: the XX drone Matrice 4 E/T has just been released, then the Mavic 4 Pro is expected to launch on April 25th, and later in the year, according to rumors, the Neo 2, the successor to the Neo, will also be launched. However, some users also feel insecure about DJI&s model policy - it is possible that you will regret buying your drone just a few months later because a model that is even better will be presented. DJI Flip DJI Flip as an FPV drone? The rumors so far have not mentioned FPV capabilities of the DJI Flip, but presumably the possibility of cooperation with DJI Goggles 3/N3, as with the Neo, will be added via a firmware update. Why would DJI miss out on this market when the Flip has all the capabilities and rotor protection? However, it is likely that the rotor noise will be quite shrill, similar to the Neo, due to the small propellers. DJI Flip Fly More Combo Price and release date of the DJI FlipThe DJI Flip will be presented on January 14th, 2025, well before the new Mavic 4 Pro, which will probably be presented on April 25th. The DJI Flip will cost 439 euros alone (without remote control), 639 euros with the RC2 remote control with its integrated 5.5" display, and 779 euros in the Fly More Combo including RC2, additional batteries, the new charger and transport case. A special 16/64/256 ND filter set will also be available as an option. more infos at bei www.dji.com deutsche Version dieser Seite: Die bessere Neo? Neue Mini-Drohne DJI Flip kommt am 14. Januar |
