Tilta is bringing the much-improved Nucleus Nano successor, which has been teased since the fall, to NAB. The multi-channel, wireless follow focus system can now control lens motors (FIZ) as well as camera and gimbal, and a touch display is integrated into the hand wheel. In this way, you have quick access to many setting parameters via touch. ![]() Tilta Nucleus Nano II ![]() The new motor design is said to offer 5x more torque than the original Nucleus Nano. The torque is automatically adjusted to the current setup via Auto-Adjust, also a highly efficient cooling system is said to be integrated to ensure reliability and longevity. The Nucleus Nano II&s internal rechargeable battery is said to last 7 hours thanks to intelligent electronic control.
While the first Nucleus Nano was single-channel, version II now features multi-channel communication to control up to 4 motors. This allows for adjustment of focus, iris, zoom and more. ![]() The Nucleus Nano II is compatible with other Tilta wireless control systems, such as the original Nano, the Nucleus-M, the Mirage VND motor and others. Designed specifically for use with gimbal shoots, the new Nucleus Nano also supports DJI RS2 & RS3 Pro.
