Wireless Follow Focus days at accessory manufacturers: After currently testing the SmallRig MagicFIZ Wireless Follow Focus in the slashCAM editorial office, which we
already presented here in quite some detail Tilta now teases the successor Nucleus Nano II.
Tilta cites over 300,000 units sold of the Nucleus Nano I, which was introduced back in 2013 - a considerable sales success and at the same time plenty of time to think about an update. The good news is that the upcoming Tilta Nucleus Nano II is said to be compatible with existing Nucleus-M, Nano and Mirage Motorized VND systems.
Looking at the teaser released by Tilta, the Nano II could bring a status and menu display in the focus wheel as a new feature. Tilta itself talks about 200% innovations (whatever that means). Many users will likely want storable lens calibrations that aren't lost when the Nucleus Nano is turned off.
Tilta has not yet given a release date. However, we expect a launch before the end of this year. More about this will certainly be posted on slashCAM soon.
