Tokina completes its Cinema Vista Prime series with a short telephoto focal length. The new 65mm T1.5 also covers a large-format image circle up to 46.7mm, making it suitable for RED Monstro 8K VV, Alexa LF Mini 5.7K Open Gate or even an Alexa65 2:1 Open Gate. High resolutions up to 8K and beyond are supported. ;) As with the 85mm, the optical design is composed of 14 elements in 13 groups. The closest focusing distance is 69cm. The other specifications are the same as the already available Vista lenses -- T1.5 speed, nine aperture blades, 112mm filter diameter, 114mm front diameter. The optic weighs 2.29kg, about the same as the other focal lengths, and will cost ,499.
With this new addition, the Cinema Vista lineup includes nine lenses, 18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 45mm, 50mm, 85mm, 105mm as well as 135mm, all with a T1.5. Five mount options are available, PL, Canon EF, MFT, Sony E as well as Arri LPL.
